From London to Hempstead Valley

BIRD will be opening their latest restaurant outside of London in Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre, Gillingham, on Friday, November 12th.
BIRD have been heavily recruiting over the past few months for their new restaurant, creating lots of job opportunities for people in and around Gillingham, for Managers, Assistant Managers, Chefs and Front and Back of House Team Members with more opportunities still available.
The new opening forms part of BIRDs long term expansion and development plans, with the restaurant chain already making improvements to their three London locations in Camden, Islington and Canary Wharf, which has included adding in three screens to offer their customer base a place to enjoy the upcoming sporting events at their Islington location.
BIRD is proud of its ‘wonderful combinations’ including teaming up with the ethical and sustainable brands Hej Coffee and The Juice Round and continuing their partnership with Big Hug Brewing, who produce BIRD branded beers, lagers and cider – with 10p of every can sold going to help the homelessness & most
vulnerable reignite back into society via roles in hospitality.
BIRD will also be launching a brand-new weekend breakfast menu exclusively at Hempstead Valley with the view to expand the offering into its London locations in the new year.

It’s a great location, right in the heart of the Shopping centre with a great team in place that are raring to go. As we’ve been in the restaurant busy working on the fit out, we’ve met a few locals as well as people working in the shops close by, and everyone has been so welcoming and excited for us to open – as are we.
